Shipping

At Blue Duck Jewellers, every piece is prepared and packaged with the same care we put into its creation.
We ship securely from our Sunshine Coast workshop using trusted, trackable couriers.

  • Australia-Wide Shipping:  We use Australia Post Express Service.  We offer FREE EXPRESS SHIPPING on orders over $199. Orders under $199 are shipped at a flat rate of $15. Your shipment is fully insured for peace of mind.

  • International Shipping: For orders over $500, shipping is handled by Federal Express at a flat rate of $45AUD.  Tracking is included on all orders. Any customs fees or import duties are the buyer’s responsibility.

  • In-Store Collection: You’re always welcome to collect from our Sunshine Plaza boutique - simply choose “Pickup” at checkout.

All parcels are fully trackable and require a signature on delivery for peace of mind.
Each item is beautifully presented in Blue Duck packaging - ready to gift or treasure.

 


 

Shipping FAQ

How long will my order take to ship?
We process orders Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays.  Please allow 1-3 days for your in-stock items to be carefully processed and packaged.

Custom designs are handcrafted to order. Your special piece will be ready for delivery within 8 weeks.  If you require your item soon, please take advantage of our “Priority Service”.

During promotional or sale periods, please allow additional time for both dispatch and delivery due to increased order volumes.

What is the delivery time?

  • Australia Post Express (plus processing time of 1-3 business days)
  • 1 – 5  business days  
  • Federal Express International Shipments (plus processing time of 1-3 business days)
  • 7-14 business days depending upon your Country and customs clearance

Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we can ship to select international countries via Federal Express. Shipments are insured and trackable. Delivery timeframes vary by destination but average 7-14 days depending upon the country.  Any customs fees, taxes, or import duties are the buyer’s responsibility.  Delays caused by customs clearance are beyond our control.

A Note To USA Customers:

We believe in keeping things clear and stress-free. Due to recent changes in U.S. Customs regulations, some customers may notice an increase in duties and taxes on international orders. These fees are determined by U.S. Customs and are unfortunately outside our control.

Duties and taxes are not included at checkout and will be payable on delivery. We understand this can be unexpected, and we encourage you to check with your local customs office before placing your order for the most accurate information.

Please note that FedEx may have limited turnaround times for unclaimed parcels due to customs processing. If an order is refused or not cleared in time, U.S. Customs may dispose of the parcel, and we’re unable to issue a refund in those cases.

To ensure a smooth delivery, we recommend staying in touch with both Federal Express and our Blue Duck team throughout the shipping process - we’re always here to help guide you every step of the way.

Can I pick up my order in person?
Absolutely. You can collect your order directly from our Sunshine Plaza, Maroochydore boutique. We’ll let you know as soon as it’s ready.

How can I track my order?
Once dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking link via email or SMS so you can follow your parcel’s journey from our workshop to your door.

Is my parcel insured?
Yes, every Blue Duck parcel includes tracking, insurance, and signature on delivery to ensure it reaches you safely.  We take the security of your jewellery seriously.

 If you choose to authorise the courier to leave your parcel without a signature (“Authority to Leave”), Blue Duck Jewellers is not responsible for loss, theft or damage once the parcel has been delivered to the address provided.

What if my parcel is delayed or lost?
We’ll assist you in tracing your parcel with the courier and help resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Your satisfaction and peace of mind are our priority. 

Do you offer gift packaging?
Every order arrives beautifully boxed, wrapped in our signature Blue Duck packaging - perfect for gifting or safekeeping. 

Delivery Delays – A Quick Word

We do our best to dispatch orders on time, but once your parcel has left our hands, delivery times are outside our control.

Delays can be caused by:

  • Peak periods (such as Christmas and sale events)

  • Weather events or natural disasters

  • Customs processing (for international orders)

  • Courier network disruptions

We’ll always assist you in following up with the carrier, but we cannot guarantee delivery dates. Order early to avoid disappointment.
